We have purchased and started exploiting a second stamping line for PVC-free lug caps.
"The second line will double our production capacity of these environmentally friendly lug caps," says Egidijus Noreikis, Head of Manufacturing. "In addition, this is another step towards environmentally-friendly manufacturing."
We have been offering PVC-free lug caps to our customers since 2015. They are innovative, exceptionally safe and environmentally friendly lug caps, suitable for sealing products even for the most sensitive consumers. During the manufacturing of these lug caps, a thermoplastic elastomer (TRE) is used instead of PVC and its necessary softener, hence the migration of particles from the sealant to the product is much lower than the norm permitted by the current EU Commission Regulation No. 10/2011.
